What makes the MEKA Tuff Tray different from standard trays?

What size tray should I choose - Small or Large?
Small (28\"): ideal for individual use or small groups of 4–6 children Large (38\"): best for group activities with up to 8 children Many educators use two small trays indoors for flexible setups, and one large tray outdoors for group play and shared activities.
Can the tray be used without the stand?
Yes. The tray can be placed directly on: a classroom table or the floor For floor use, we recommend using a MEKA waterproof sensory mat to prevent sliding and better manage the mess.
Can the Tuff Tray hold water?
Yes - the stand is designed with plastic feet that help prevent movement in most cases. However, stability depends on the type of flooring. For better grip and stability, we recommend using the MEKA waterproof sensory mat with anti-slip backing, especially on smooth surfaces.
